What you are buying

One Mazda Mazda6 engine, stripped out, drained and checked over before it went on the shelf.

It is listed against the PE-VPS code. We sell on the code, not the model name, because manufacturers change injectors, looms, mounting points and sensor positions mid-generation and two vehicles that look identical can take completely different units.

What we checked

• Sump dropped and the pickup and bearings inspected for material
• Checked for coolant in the oil and oil in the coolant
• Turbo shaft play checked by hand where one is fitted
• Compression tested on every cylinder, with the readings checked against the manufacturer service limit
• Oil pressure verified on the rig at idle and at speed

Fitment

This fits the Mazda Mazda6 running the PE-VPS. Send us the number stamped on your block, casing or nameplate, or your VIN if you cannot find it, and we will confirm the match in writing before you pay anything. That check is free and it takes minutes.

Not included

Wiring loom, ECU, starter, alternator, flywheel and clutch are quoted separately. Ask and we will price a drop-in package rather than leaving you to chase the parts.

Warranty and delivery

Three months mechanical warranty from delivery or collection, covering the core of the unit. Prices include VAT. Delivery is quoted separately per unit and per destination, in writing, so you know the landed cost before you commit. Collection from our Durban yard is always an option.
